When Infinite Technologies is involved with orthoses, patients receive the most customized treatment. Even our “off-the-shelf” devices are molded and customized for the best fit possible.
Full Leg Orthotic Braces
Orthotic Brace: HKAFO (Hip Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis)
This custom device is for more stability of the hip and lower torso, due to muscle weakness, in addition to the lower extremity involvement. This also provides pelvic stability. The hip section stabilizes and aligns the lower leg which reduces unwanted motion, while increasing steps per minute. It may be made of metal, thermoplastic, or a combination of materials.
Conditions: paraplegia, spina bifida, recurrent hip dislocation, fractures, muscle weakness and other high neurological impairments.
Orthotic Brace: KAFO (Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis)
This custom designed brace is used to support muscles, immobilize joints, and correct the position of your knee, foot, and ankle. It may be made of metal, thermoplastic, or a combination of materials.
Conditions: injuries or other diseases that cause pain, weakness or instability of the leg
