These are one credit courses that cover general and advanced concepts in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics. These are taught by Certified Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinicians within DC, VA and MD. Each course is Free and worth 1 CEU. Infinite Academy will file your attendance of the course to your state for your credit earning.
Our Certified Educators will come on site to your practice to present these courses or they can be set up virtually. You can take the entire course catalog over time or chose courses that best suit your facility.

An overview of upper extremity orthotics including physiological considerations and benefits of upper extremity orthoses
Course 5– Orthotic Clinical Decision Making: AFOs:
A course designed to identify and describe the functional tasks of gait and gait manifestations and clinical management of gait
Course 6– Pediatric Orthoses:
A course designed specifically for management of pediatric patients including three main resultant head-shape deformities, benefits of cranial remolding orthoses, and treatment challenges of neuromuscular scoliosis
Course 7– Geriatric Orthoses:
A review course of geriatric orthotic populations while identifying treatment goals, different devices types functionally for the spine, upper and lower extremities.
Course 8– Neuropathic Feet:
A course designed to Identify incidence and occurrence for issues associated with an insensate and dysvascular foot and treatment goals.
Course 9– Documentation for Therapists:
A course designed to review timing of the O&P referral for a patient’s therapy plan and review the importance of documentation between disciplines.
Course 10– Orthotic Trends in Sports I:
A course designed to identify common sports injuries, mechanisms of injury And treatment goals
Course 11– Orthotic Trends in Sports II:
A continuation of part one focusing on specific devices for the foot, ankle, knee and spine
Course 12– Stance Control Orthoses:
A course designed to Compare and contrast the functional characteristics of a variety of orthotic knee joints, identify common gait deviations and when to use a KAFO/Stance Control Orthosis
