Infinite Technologies is experienced in fitting “off-the-shelf” and custom orthotics for corrective, rehabilitative and post-recovery conditions. When Infinite Technologies is involved, patients receive the most customized treatment. Even “off-the-shelf” devices are adjusted to best fit the individual. Lower limb orthotics have multiple functions. They protect a joint or a body part either preventatively or post-operatively reducing pain and promoting proper healing. Braces can be used to permit, enhance, resist, limit or stop joint range of motion for patient’s dealing with hip, knee or foot weakness and contractures. They help prevent a deformity from getting worse such as cases of charcot foot and other valgus and varus deformities. Ultimately, we strive to understand your lower limb challenges and needs to increase your comfort and functional levels. Based on the patient’s prescription, doctor’s notes, preferences, and diagnosis, we will fit the patient with the highest level of “off the shelf” or custom lower limb orthoses deemed necessary. We will take the time to explain how your brace benefits you and how to appropriately and safely put it on and take it off. Before you leave, we will make sure your questions are answered, your brace is functional and comfortable, and you have our contact information for any future questions or concerns. Most importantly, we follow up on you after your initial appointment to ensure the lower limb brace maintains its optimal fit and is adjusted as you progress throughout your treatment.
